Ascertainment of Quorum
Five MGA board members were present, and a quorum was reached. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm.
Approval of Minutes
Reading of the minutes from the January meeting was waived.
Treasury Report
Robert Shaw provided the following updates:
- Cash in the bank as of April 30, 2023 is $5,767.68
- LWMGA has three invoices to be paid upon board approval totaling $2,508.08. LWMGA board approved paying all three invoices
- For the tournament holdback portion ($5 per player), ClubCorp would prefer that the LWMGA be credited with that amount rather than maintaining a balance with ClubCorp. Robert will create a Savings Account linked to the LWMGA Checking account to hold the holdback balance from each tournament. Board unanimously approved this approach.

| Member Questions | Is there a possibility of having an event where LWMGA members help to fill divots on the golf course – board will look into the potential to host a divot filling partyDoes the club or the board have a perspective on the number of male club members who are not part of the LWMGA and the reasons for not joining? – Bob will add a section in the next newsletter outlining the benefits of joining the LWMGA, and emphasizing the point that we have a very wide range of handicaps participating and a number of different activities/events that are available |
